Ashoka-based preparations are used in Ayurveda to treat various disorders of the female reproductive system.

The Ayurvedic remedy Ashoka Churna is intended to normalize the menstrual cycle without hormonal therapy. Ashoka plant contains phytoestrogens, plant-based estrogens.

The preparation is indicated for women in the period before and after menopause. It regulates hormone production, restores the regularity of the monthly cycle in women, eliminates premenstrual symptoms, and also addresses problems such as amenorrhea (absence of menstruation for several menstrual cycles) and dysmenorrhea (a pathological process characterized by severe lower abdominal pain during menstruation).

Action of Ashoka Churna:

• Reduces symptoms of dysmenorrhea (cramps, abdominal pain);
• Used to treat any neoplasms in the uterus;
• Strengthens uterine muscles;
• Eliminates menstrual cycle irregularities (amenorrhea);
• Increases hemoglobin levels in the blood;
• Activates ovarian secretion;
• Treatment of nonspecific vaginal discharge (leukorrhea, thrush);
• Restores the menstrual cycle;
• Reduces uterine bleeding;
• Stops internal bleeding, helps with bleeding hemorrhoids;
• Regulates the amount of menstrual blood;
• Reduces PMS symptoms (weakness, nausea, burning in hands and feet);
• Provides anti-inflammatory effect in diseases of the female genital organs.

Methods of using Ashoka Churna

External use.

As a mask. Dilute a small amount of powder with water to a creamy consistency. Apply to clean skin of the problem area and leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

As a decoction. Brew one teaspoon of Ashoka powder in a glass of hot water and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Drink 20-30 ml twice a day after meals, it is recommended to add milk or honey (to eliminate the bitter taste).

Internal use.

One to two teaspoons of powder should be taken with a warm drink (milk, rice decoction), twice a day, after meals. For the treatment of cysts, fibroids, and other neoplasms, the course of treatment can be 3-6 months. Exceeding the dosage may cause constipation.

Contraindications: Personal intolerance, pregnancy and subsequent lactation period, dehydration, low blood sugar, stomach ulcer, not for children under 12 years old, use only from the 5th day after the onset of menstruation.

Storage conditions: Store in a dry, cool place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Do not store in the refrigerator.
