Kohl (Kajal) has been one of the oldest cosmetic eye products. Women in the Arabian Peninsula and Eastern countries use this black substance as eyeliner, eyeshadow, and for eye treatment, as well as to create the famous Eastern eye makeup look.

But kohl doesn't only enhance the expressiveness and beauty of the eyes; it's also beneficial for vision and eye hygiene. It's even used on infants to strengthen their eyes and as protection against the "evil eye."

In India and the Middle East, kohl is used to treat conjunctivitis and other eye diseases, soothes irritated mucous membranes, and in some cases, acts as an anti-allergen. Kohl doesn't harm eyelashes; on the contrary, it strengthens them and promotes growth. It makes eyes appear brighter and larger, cleanses them, and prevents eye fatigue and diseases.

Active Ingredients:

Castor Oil (Riccinus communis). An antiseptic. A natural remedy that promotes tissue repair. Nourishes, softens, moisturizes the skin, removes warts and growths, accelerates hair and eyelash growth. Not for nothing does Ayurveda call castor oil the "lion among oils". A good anti-inflammatory agent for the eyes, containing a large number of vitamins and microelements. Relieves eye pain and fatigue, normalizes high intraocular pressure, relieves eyelid inflammation, and improves vision.

Beeswax (Cera alba). Used in cosmetics, it helps to tighten pores and rejuvenate. Smooths wrinkles, deeply nourishes the skin with vitamins and fatty acids, softens and helps retain moisture in its structure, gives smoothness and matte finish. Absorbs slowly into the skin and deeply nourishes it without clogging pores. Has anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in bactericidal substances, combats any rash and irritation. Protects skin from weathering and heals sunburns.

Ghee (Clarified Butter). Supports healthy eyes and protects them. Cleanses and nourishes the eyes, eyelashes, and eyelid skin with essential microelements.

Vitamin E (Vitamin E). Possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties.

Application: Use like regular eyeliner. For therapeutic effect, apply to both upper and lower eyelids before bedtime. Avoid using eye drops after applying kajal makeup.
