Brand: Вьяс (Vyas Pharmaceuticals)

Amalaki, or Indian Gooseberry, is the richest known natural source of Vitamin C in nature. Amalaki contains five of the six possible tastes (according to Ayurveda): sweet, sour, bitter, astringent, and pungent.
The only taste missing in Amalaki is salty. This quality makes it beneficial for all three doshas, a claim very few fruits can make. Amla is good in any weather and for any body constitution.
Excellent for treating coughs, colds, sore throats, and respiratory infections. As an antioxidant, Amalaki protects the body from the damaging effects of free radicals, thus slowing down the aging process.
Amalaki is a general tonic and is beneficial for many ailments. Amla effectively balances all three doshas. For this reason, it is a key ingredient in Ayurvedic health tonics.
Amalaki is a rare combination of astringent and nutritive properties, which is very important in the treatment and restoration of various body tissues. Also, Amalaki is valued for its ability to enhance ojas, thereby improving the immune system.
Amalaki is considered one of the most powerful rejuvenating plants in Ayurvedic medicine. Amalaki is the richest natural source of Vitamin C (up to 3000 mg in one fruit).
Amalaki has an immunomodulatory effect and also stimulates hemoglobin synthesis. It cleanses the liver, blood, and intestines, regulates sugar and cholesterol levels, promotes hair and nail growth, strengthens bones and teeth. Along with catechins, antioxidants prevent the development of atherosclerosis and various immune disorders.
The fruits of the plant contain substances that stimulate the production of erythropoietin, which is why the plant has long been used in the treatment of anemia. Glycosides and saponins normalize bowel function, eliminating constipation, flatulence, and intestinal colic.
