Ashokarishtam – a renowned Ayurvedic remedy for strengthening the female reproductive system and overall health at any age. It acts as a tonic for the uterus, as well as the hormonal and digestive systems. It regulates liver function, cleanses the blood, and normalizes hemoglobin levels. It balances the Tridosha, especially Vata and Pitta doshas.

Ashokarishtam is used as a hemostatic agent for the treatment of menorrhagia, anemia, shortened menstrual cycle, fever, and hemorrhoids. Active Ingredients:

Ashoka (Saraca indica). Its main area of application is the female reproductive system, for which Ashoka is called a tonic for women. The remedy has hemostatic, blood-purifying, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, antispasmodic, diuretic, analgesic, and antidote properties. It helps maintain a healthy female reproductive system and balances Pitta and Kapha.

It is effectively used in Ayurveda for all types of menstrual cycle disorders, especially in cases of excessive bleeding during the menstrual cycle, cramps, uterine spasms and abdominal pain, as well as hormonal imbalance, all female disorders, vaginal disorders, ovarian dysfunction, PMS, and infertility. It strengthens uterine muscles and stimulates the follicle in the ovary, softens excessive bleeding and menopausal symptoms. Neutralizes bleeding of other nature (e.g., urethral, internal, bleeding hemorrhoids), inflammation and swelling.

Woodfordia fruticosa (Woodfordia floribunda). The plant is used for various inflammatory disorders associated with the female reproductive system, as well as for urinary tract infections; as a remedy that positively affects the condition of the gastrointestinal tract; as a wound-healing agent.

Musta (cyperus rotondus) Is a general tonic for the whole body. It is used for general weakness, cleansing from toxins and slags, and for bronchopulmonary diseases. It has strong antioxidant, antimicrobial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, and cooling properties. Eliminates blood stasis and fluid accumulation, stimulates digestion, relieves stomach pain, treats gastrointestinal infections, heals ulcers, wounds, and cuts.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale). Contains amino acids and vitamins A, B, C, trace elements - magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus. The root of the plant positively affects the digestive process, stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, improves hematopoietic function and cerebral blood flow, accelerates metabolic processes in the body and enhances the activity of the thyroid gland in the production of hormones. The use of ginger helps to cope with problems such as flatulence, allergic manifestations and skin diseases, high cholesterol, helminthic invasions, the risk of thrombus formation, diarrhea, stomach spasms, pain in joint diseases, edema, sprains. Cleanses the body of toxins and slags, strengthens the immune system.

Indian Mango (Mangifera indica). Nourishes and tones the nervous system, gives strength and vigor to the whole body and cleanses it of toxins. Mango helps to maintain a youthful and fresh look for a long time, and at the same time, stops premature aging. The flesh of unripe mango differs from ripe mango in that it contains almost no sugar and is very rich in vitamin C. According to Ayurveda, amchur has a positive effect on hearing loss, activates the work of the small intestine, improves blood circulation in the lung tissue, relieves muscle fatigue. Normalizes calcium metabolism in the body, improves vision.

Indian Barberry (Berberis aristata). Possesses antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, cooling, diaphoretic, astringent, wound-healing, antioxidant, tonic, and laxative properties. Its extensive healing properties are used for skin diseases, for healing wounds, abscesses, ulcers, cuts and scars. It is an effective blood purifier. Barberry is also used as a means to improve digestion, for urolithiasis, for gastric and duodenal ulcers, for nausea and vomiting, to strengthen the heart muscle, to lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation. It is useful for rheumatism and arthritis, as well as a traditional anti-diabetic agent, for the treatment of internal bleeding, as an anticancer agent, for hangover syndrome, as an anti-inflammatory agent and for some venereal diseases, for burning fat during weight loss.

Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). The healing properties of the plant are due to its main active components: chebulic acid and powerful antioxidants. Promotes the production of enzymes that are crucial for detoxification. Penetrating into the tissues, this acid stimulates the activity of the brain, facilitating the establishment of connections between the CNS departments, increases the cognitive abilities of a person. The plant contributes to increasing resistance to negative environmental influences, has an antitumor effect, reducing the risk of cancer. The fruits of the plant contain compounds that have a pronounced antioxidant effect, which determines the therapeutic and prophylactic effect on atherosclerosis and degenerative disorders of the musculoskeletal system. In addition, it protects the body from radiation exposure. Promotes cleansing of the kidneys and liver, helps with urolithiasis and cholelithiasis. Has antimicrobial, antifungal and antiviral effects. Tones the whole body.


Instructions for use: 1-2 tablespoons with a small amount of warm water twice a day after meals. Attention: while using Ashokarishtam Ayurvedic tonic for women, it is recommended to exclude salty, spicy, fatty, fried, heavy dishes from the diet, limit the use of spices.


Contraindications: alcohol dependence, childhood, individual intolerance to one or more components of the drug. The drug is recommended to be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a specialist.


Composition of Ashokarishtam: each 10 ml of the preparation contains: Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) - 3.889 g, Ashoka (Saraca indica) - 1.944 g, Woodfordia fruticosa - 0.311 g, Black cumin (Nigella sativa) - 0.019 g, Musta (cyperus rotondus) - 0.019 g, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) - 0.019 g, Indian Barberry (Berberis aristata) - 0.019 g, Kaempferia rotunda - 0.019 g, Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) - 0.019 g, Amla (Emblica officinalis) - 0.019 g, Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica) - 0.019 g, Indian Mango (Mangifera indica) - 0.019 g, Cumin (Cuminum cyminum) - 0.019 g, Justicia gendarussa - 0.019 g, White Sandalwood (Santalum album) - 0.019 g.


Purpose: premenstrual syndrome accompanied by irritability, apathy, decreased mood, abdominal and/or lower back pain, migraines, worsening of the general condition; menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, painful menstruation, hypermenorrhea, menorrhagia, acute and chronic candidiasis (thrush), vulvitis, vaginitis, adnexitis, ovarian cysts, infertility.
