Chavanprash Kesari Kalp - a broad-spectrum tonic developed by Baidyanath based on a classic Chavanprash formula. Kesari Kalp is enhanced with gold ash and sandalwood and contains a higher amount of saffron compared to classic formulas.
Chavanprash is the most famous health tonic with a very wide range of effects. It has a powerful immunomodulatory effect, improves digestion, helps with colds, normalizes blood pressure, balances metabolism, strengthens the immune and endocrine systems, keeps tissues young, and the brain alert and active, and regulates the gastrointestinal tract.
Chavanprash is a sweet and spicy, soft, jam-like mass of dark brown color. Its base is Amla pulp, the richest source of vitamin C in nature. Amla juice contains 20 times more vitamin C than orange juice.
Pharmacological action: metabolic improving, tonic, rejuvenating agent.
Active ingredients:
Amla (Emblica officinalis). Helps normalize blood glucose levels, supports heart health. 100g of pulp contains 30 times more vitamin C than an orange. It strengthens teeth and bones, promotes hair growth, improves digestion, metabolism, and boosts immunity. Helps synthesize hemoglobin, cleanses the liver and other internal organs of toxins. The fruit has a rejuvenating effect, neutralizes and removes heavy metals and free radicals.
Cane sugar (Saccharum officinarum). A source of easily digestible carbohydrates, without which the synthesis of ATP – the body's energy source – is impossible. Necessary for brain function and metabolism in nerve cells, contributes to the appearance of a large number of energy reserves in the body. Normalizes digestion as it is rich in fiber. Contains beneficial substances: B vitamins, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc.
Dashamoola (Dashamoola). A classic Ayurvedic composition of ten medicinal roots (bilva, shionaka, patala, shaliparna, prishniparna, brihati, kantakari, gokshura, agnimathi, kasmarya). It is believed that in combination they have a very strong healing effect. Improves the condition of the neuroendocrine system, regulating the function of: thyroid, pancreas, thymus, adrenal glands, and reproductive system. Has a rejuvenating effect on the body.
Pippali (Piper longum). Extremely effective for improving digestion, metabolism, and the absorption of beneficial trace elements. In Ayurveda, it is used in rejuvenation procedures and for removing toxins from the body. It is believed that Pippali improves the interaction of the three doshas. It successfully combats colds and coughs, is an antipyretic, and perfectly tones brain activity.
Bala (Sida cordifolia). Harmonizes the three doshas, rasayana (rejuvenating elixir), natural tonic, anti-stress agent, antioxidant, aphrodisiac, anabolic, cardiotonic, used in the treatment of nervous system disorders, immunomodulator.
Grape (Vitis vinifera). Possesses pronounced antioxidant and tonic properties. The medicinal properties of grapes are used to lower blood cholesterol levels, prevent atherosclerosis, restore the nervous system, reduce the risk of hormone-dependent tumors, prevent cardiovascular diseases, varicose veins, and improve blood circulation.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia). Improves immunity, stops premature aging, relieves fever, and cleanses the body of toxins. Helps with leg pain, bleeding, both internal and external, and boosts immunity.
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). A well-known rejuvenating plant. Slows down graying hair and accelerates its growth, positively affects memory and vision, treats diseases of the lungs and digestive system, acts as a mild laxative, improves immunity, and normalizes digestion. Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa). An important tonic and rejuvenating plant for the kidneys. Used to treat obesity. Relieves all types of edema, cleanses the blood, stops bleeding. It is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. Lowers blood sugar, is a cardiotonic. Due to the high content of calcium salts and the alkaloid punarnava, it has a diuretic effect, enhances hemoglobin synthesis, and eliminates stagnation in the liver. Possesses anti-inflammatory activity. One of the best natural herbs for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Possesses anti-allergic properties, aphrodisiac, pacifies all doshas. Used as an anti-inflammatory and sedative. Cleanses the blood, fights skin diseases, nourishes the nervous system, protects the heart, relieves headaches.
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus). Heals female reproductive organs, gives strength, rejuvenates the body, normalizes hormonal levels, fights the herpes virus, helps with stomach disorders, and restores after surgery.
Bhumyamla (Phyllantus niruri). A plant that improves metabolism, as well as choleretic, wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, diuretic. This herb rejuvenates, restores, and tones the liver.

Application: Take 15 minutes before meals or between meals. Adults – 1 tsp twice a day, before meals. Children from 2 to 6 years old – 1/2 tsp twice a day, before meals. May be recommended for regular use. Dosage may be increased for flu-like conditions.
Contraindications: Use with caution in diabetes as Chavanprash contains a lot of sugar, acute and chronic nephritis and pyelonephritis, gastritis with sharply increased acidity, and honey allergy.
