Lakshadi Guggul – is one of Ayurveda's most effective calcium-supplying remedies. In Indian medicine, it's considered one of the best natural restorative agents for the musculoskeletal system due to its effective ability to accelerate the healing of bone fractures and cracks. The drug also has a balancing effect on Vata dosha.

The drug's effects are provided by its active ingredients – Guggul and Lakshad. These are two different types of resins. Guggul resin is considered one of the most common components of Ayurvedic medicine preparations. Guggul enhances protective functions and strengthens the body from within. Lakshad resin, in turn, has a direct effect on the bones, muscles, and ligaments of the musculoskeletal system. It strengthens the entire bone system of the body, supplies calcium to the tissue, promoting its faster recovery from damage, and also relieves swelling, inflammation, and muscle pain.

A valuable property of the drug is that it promotes the accumulation of calcium in the body in areas where it is deficient.

This remedy is used for conditions such as bone spurs (osteophytes), osteoporosis, radiculitis, bursitis, osteoarthritis, and to relieve wrist pain in carpal tunnel syndrome after prolonged monotonous work at a computer keyboard or writing, bone pain from fractures and creaking. The remedy alleviates the condition with limited joint mobility, inflammation of the heel bone, tendon tissue dystrophy (tendinitis), frequent fractures and dislocations, swelling and sprains of muscles and ligaments, and general weakness. The drug promotes improved nutrition of bone-joint and muscle tissues with essential microelements, which contributes to their accelerated healing in sprains and fusion in fractures.

Other beneficial side effects of Lakshadi Guggul include strengthening artery walls in atherosclerosis, a positive effect on acne and other skin problems, and assistance in complex weight loss therapy. In addition, the drug contains microelements that can normalize cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.

Active Ingredients:

Lac insect resin (Laccifer lacca). A remedy for obesity and liver protection. Helps with diseases of the intestines, stomach, kidneys, and jaundice. Strengthens the musculoskeletal system, filling bones with calcium, promoting their fusion. Removes osteophytes, promotes calcium deposition where it is most needed. The ingredient is not vegetarian as it is made from insects.

Guggul (Commiphora mukul). The medicinal resin of this plant has pronounced medicinal properties; it effectively cleanses and rejuvenates the body, removes toxins and metals, normalizes metabolism, lowers cholesterol, and stimulates the thyroid gland.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera). Increases endurance, improves memory, gives strength, nourishes the body with essential vitamins and microelements, reduces the intensity of neuroses, and strengthens the heart. It has a calming effect, relieves insomnia and chronic fatigue.

Instructions for use: 2-4 tablets twice a day after meals with water.

Contraindications: pregnancy, individual intolerance to the drug or its components. The drug is recommended to be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a specialist.

Composition of Lakshadi Guggul: Guggul (Commiphora mukul), Lac insect resin (Laccifer lacca), Cissus quadrangularis, Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Nagbala (Grewia hirsuta).
