Medication for treating skin diseases.

Maha Tiktam Kwatham has the same therapeutic effect as Maha Tiktam Kashayam, with the only difference being that this preparation is in tablet form, making it more convenient to take. The remedy addresses a range of skin diseases such as acne, boils, fistulas, abscesses, and long-term non-healing wounds.

Maha Tiktam contains numerous medicinal herbs; therefore, its effects are not limited to skin diseases. It also helps with eye problems and heart conditions. It alleviates symptoms of herpes, allergies, burning, itching, and even mental illnesses.

It helps with syphilis, toxic conditions, heavy menstrual bleeding in women, and stops any bleeding in general. It mainly acts on Pitta dosha, balancing it, but also stabilizes Vata and Kapha.

Active Ingredients:

Cassia fistula/Aragvadha (Cassia fistula). The pulp of the bean contains: anthraglycosides – sennosides A and B, rhein, barbaloin, aloin, formic and oxalic acids. The fruits are used as a laxative, as well as for liver diseases, gout, rheumatism, dysentery, and diabetes.

Kutki/Katuki (Picrorhiza kurroa). A plant that helps with fever, normalizes metabolism, gets rid of parasites, improves the condition with asthma, bronchitis, diabetes, obesity, eye inflammation, removes toxins and slags.

Calamus/Vacha (Acorus Calamus). Beneficial effect on intellect, improves speech, balances Vata dosha, cleanses the blood and lymphatic system. Helps in tissue repair, normalizes the movement of energy in the body, restores appetite, improves digestion, improves the condition with sinusitis and joint diseases.

Triphala (Triphala). A medicinal composition of three medicinal herbs (Amalaki, Haritaki, Bibhitaki), cleansing and rejuvenating the body, has a mild laxative effect.

Neem (Azadirachta indica). A plant that is widely known both in India and abroad. Helps with hemorrhoids, skin diseases, diabetes, toothache, dandruff, obesity, bleeding, vomiting and nausea, wounds and ulcers, slags and toxins in the blood. A strong antiseptic and anthelmintic agent, rejuvenation, reduces Kapha dosha, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels, helps with joint diseases, accelerates wound healing.

Usage: 2–3 tablets 1–2 times a day, or as recommended by an Ayurvedic doctor. The drug is recommended to be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a specialist.
