Brand: Патанджали (Patanjali)

Pippali Churna is an Ayurvedic remedy consisting entirely of the long pepper (Piper longum), a very popular spice in India. Its pungent fruits possess numerous medicinal properties and have been used for centuries in traditional Eastern medicine. It is a component of Trikatu, a popular Eastern remedy meaning "Three Spices," which also includes black pepper and ginger.

Pippali Churna primarily exhibits local irritant, analgesic, stimulating, expectorant, and antiparasitic effects; it also stimulates gas expulsion. It is considered an aphrodisiac due to its ability to stimulate blood circulation, activating the energy of the pelvic organs, thereby increasing libido.

Pippali Churna is considered an excellent stimulant for the bronchopulmonary system and gastrointestinal tract. It produces a strong warming effect, expels phlegm and Ama (mucus), increases and restores energy tone, and acts as an effective antioxidant for the bronchopulmonary system. In a milk decoction, it is effective in treating bronchopulmonary diseases such as tuberculosis, asthma, and bronchitis.

Consuming 100 mg with honey on an empty stomach is very beneficial. This helps curb excess mucus formation in the digestive system, aiding in weight loss, removing mucus, and improving the absorption of other medications and nutrients from food.

Active Ingredients:

Pippali (Piper longum). Rich in essential oils, alkaloids, and resins, giving it its pungent flavor used in cooking, while minerals and vitamins add to its medicinal properties. It's also often recommended for joint diseases such as arthritis, rheumatism, and gout.

Pippali is beneficial for diabetes, treats malaria, improves digestion by stimulating bowel movements, relieves constipation and gas buildup, neutralizes putrefactive microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract, effectively removes parasites and excess Ama from the intestines. Pippali positively affects liver function, eliminating stagnation, activates brain function, increases libido, and strengthens potency.
