Black sesame contains significantly more vitamins and minerals than white sesame. This includes a wealth of beneficial acids, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins A and E, magnesium, iron, and zinc. Black sesame is particularly rich in calcium. Importantly, the body absorbs far more vitamins and minerals from natural sources like oils than from supplements.

It effectively balances Vata dosha, especially when used for foot massage. It also improves sleep, calms the mind, moisturizes and cleanses the skin, strengthens hair roots, rejuvenates the skin, normalizes sebaceous glands, and has anti-inflammatory properties. It's truly a wonder oil. Furthermore, black sesame has a richer aroma, making it ideal for salads and other dishes.

Application: For hair: Apply warmed oil (gently heated in a double boiler or bowl of hot water) to the scalp. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For body: Massage the entire body with sesame oil using light strokes. Leave for an hour and then rinse with warm water. For face: Gently massage into the skin, leave for half an hour, and then rinse with water. For internal use, take 0.5-1 teaspoon 1-3 times daily. Consult a healthcare professional before use.
