Dried Bael Fruit Candies - a wonderful product combining the taste and benefits of an exotic fruit from one of the most sacred trees in Hinduism – a subtropical evergreen tree growing in South India, Burma, Indonesia, Thailand, as well as on the islands of Ceylon and the Philippines.

Candies are made from fresh Bael fruit in sugar syrup. This method of production preserves their medicinal properties. The pulp of this unique fruit has a rose-like aroma, and its taste can be compared to the most delicate marmalade, hence the name - Aegle marmelos. Due to its unique taste qualities, its fruits are consumed fresh.

The medicinal properties of this tree's fruits were discovered in the distant past and are successfully used to this day in both folk and traditional medicine as an astringent and antiseptic agent, counteracting the occurrence and development of putrefactive processes in diseases of the abdominal organs and gastrointestinal disorders.

The fruits are rich in alkaloids and steroids, as well as essential oils, gum, protein, carbohydrates, acids, carotene, and riboflavin, which together constitute more than 1% of the total mass of the fruit. All these components provide an effect of excellent body toning, promote energy synthesis, and increase the efficiency of brain cells.

However, the most pharmacologically active component of the fruit is the glycoside marmelosin, the content of which determines the pronounced anti-inflammatory and tonic properties, as well as the effect of stimulating the digestive process and harmonizing the imbalance of Vata and Pitta doshas.

The action of Aegle marmelos fruits contributes to the effective improvement of digestion and absorption of useful microelements from food, as well as the removal of accumulated gases, mucus, toxic compounds, and poisons from the intestines, and a mild laxative effect.

In addition, the product has anthelmintic, antiviral, and antibacterial effects, reduces the risk of allergic reactions, and has a positive effect on the heart. It is a good tonic for the liver and promotes blood purification.

Active Ingredients:

Aegle marmelos. One of the ingredients in the Dashamul composition. It is a valuable medicinal plant not only from the point of view of Ayurveda but also according to Tibetan medicine. It has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, normalizes sleep, stimulates the work of cells and membranes of the brain. It is effective in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, respiratory diseases, stops cough, eliminates gastrointestinal colic, malabsorption syndrome - impaired absorption of nutrients from food, diarrhea, dysentery, and diabetes.

It has an astringent property that enhances digestive fire. It has antipyretic, anthelmintic, and antispasmodic effects. Due to its antioxidant properties, it tones the body, slows down oxidation processes, and neutralizes free radicals. It effectively cleanses the blood, even from old toxins. It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and photosensitizing properties and helps with leukoderma.

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum). It is a source of carbohydrates, without which energy synthesis in the body is impossible. It is necessary for the optimal functioning of the brain and the course of metabolic processes in nerve cells. It contributes to the activation of energy reserves in the body. It normalizes digestion as it is rich in organic dietary fibers. It contains useful biochemical compounds and substances: B vitamins, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc.

Instructions for use: Take 1-2 teaspoons twice a day after meals. If using other Ayurvedic preparations, allow a 1-hour break after taking this product.
