Punarnavadi Kwatham, 100 tabs., Kottakkal Ayurveda

Punarnavadi is similar to the excellent anti-inflammatory agent Punarnavasta. However, there is a slight difference – Punarnavadi also contains turmeric, which enhances the anti-inflammatory effect. Punarnavadi treats various serious diseases associated with fluid retention in the body. These include: myxedema, ascites, and anasarca.

In case of fluid retention, it can act as a natural diuretic without side effects. Of course, the remedy treats colds and relieves even severe coughs. In general, it helps with a number of respiratory diseases. It also helps with shortness of breath.

Abdominal pain has various causes. However, Punarnavadi copes with most of the causes of such pain. It is also an excellent remedy for treating anemia, which causes symptoms of increased fatigue, lethargy, as well as brittle hair and nails.

Active Ingredients:

Spreading Boerhavia / Punarnava (Boerhavia difusa). A plant that restores the function of the liver, kidneys, thyroid gland, and pancreas. Restores metabolism, cleanses the liver, relieves swelling of both tissues and joints. Lowers blood sugar levels, improves the condition of the male reproductive system.

Himalayan Cedar / Daru (Cedrus deodara). A strong antibacterial plant used to treat rheumatism, skin diseases, ulcers, tuberculosis, and respiratory diseases.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa). Has a warming effect, harmonizes all types of constitution, is effective for arthritis, muscle pain, rheumatism, bruises, ulcers, dermatitis, toothache, menstrual irregularities, cough, diabetes, hemorrhoids, cuts, wounds, burns, skin diseases, jaundice, relieves anxiety, stress, boosts immunity.

Neem (Azadirachta indica). A plant that is widely known both in India and abroad. A strong antiseptic and anthelmintic agent, rejuvenating, reduces kapha dosha, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels, helps with joint diseases, accelerates wound healing. Has strong antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.

Usage: 2 tablets twice a day before meals. Should be used with caution by people with diabetes, as it can lower blood sugar levels. The drug should be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a specialist.
