Shankha Bhasma – is the ash of sea shells obtained through calcination – a special processing for better absorption by the body.

This remedy is useful in cases of acute calcium deficiency. By replenishing its deficiency, it improves the condition of teeth and nails, reduces hair loss. Reduces the frequency of allergy attacks, strengthens the neuromuscular system, is effective for numbness in the fingers and toes, and also in reducing blood clotting, bleeding, gastrointestinal disorders and cardiovascular disorders.

The drug is especially recommended for calcium deficiency in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is useful for children and adolescents during periods of active growth, as well as in old age with increased bone fragility. With decreased bone density, it is prescribed as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent. It is especially useful for reducing the severity of accompanying symptoms of nervous disorders - sleep disturbances, increased irritability, weakened memory and increased blood pressure.

Shankha bhasma is successfully used for gastritis with increased acidity, stomach and duodenal ulcers, dysentery, acidosis, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, poisoning, and thickening of the intestinal walls. It is also recommended for headaches, burning sensations in the body, enlargement of the liver and spleen, calcium deficiency, tooth and hair loss.

This Ayurvedic preparation is also used for enlargement of the liver and spleen. Effectively eliminates hypocalcemia and its accompanying symptoms, increases bone strength, enhances hair and nail growth, and improves skin condition. Balances Vata and Pitta doshas.

Active Ingredients:

Sea shell ash (Shankha bhasma). Sea shell powder. Helps with gastrointestinal disorders, allergies. Improves the condition of skin, hair, nails and teeth. Prescribed for general calcium deficiency, allergies, dental problems. Able to balance increased Pitta and Kapha doshas, such as increased stomach acidity, diarrhea, bleeding, burning sensation during urination, irritation and inflammation of the eyes, numbness of hands and feet.

Useful for bronchopulmonary diseases: cough, tuberculosis and pleurisy. Recommended for children with allergic conditions and calcium deficiency, as well as pregnant women. Intensively replenishes calcium deficiency in osteoporosis, bone softening. Used in the therapy of atrial fibrillation.

Instructions for use: Take 1-2 capsules twice a day before meals or as directed by a doctor. Traditionally, the preparation is taken with honey or lemon juice.

Store in a dry, cool, dark place.

Contraindications: Calcium metabolism disorders.
