Triphala - an ancient formula for body rejuvenation, deep cleansing, and boosting the immune system. Triphala is widely used in Ayurvedic practice for the treatment and prevention of many diseases in various age groups.
The name "Triphala" translates as "three fruits." This is because the preparation contains three fruits: amalaki (Emblica officinalis), haritaki (Terminalia chebula), and bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica). The ancient Indian sacred text Charaka Samhita says of Triphala: "He who takes Triphala for a year will be free from all diseases and will live to be a hundred years old!"
The preparation affects all types of human tissues and balances all three doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, bringing all the body's life support systems into optimal functioning. Due to this effect, a person's well-being improves significantly. Regardless of age, they get sick much less often and suffer less from gastrointestinal disorders. At the same time, the appearance improves – skin, hair, and nails; joint pain subsides; various injuries on the body heal faster – wounds and abrasions; activity increases, and performance improves.
As a result of the gentle and gradual release of the body from ama (toxins and slags), Triphala tones and rejuvenates body tissues, increasing the efficiency of metabolic processes. After cleansing the large and small intestines, as well as the liver and gallbladder, spleen and pancreas, all gastrointestinal functions are normalized. The production of enzymes that break down complex products into simpler ones is increased, which contributes to improved absorption of nutrients from food, resulting in the body receiving more nutrients and vitamins for its full functioning.
Acting as an enterosorbent, the preparation normalizes lipid metabolism and allows you to control appetite due to better food absorption, which makes it an indispensable tool in the fight against excess weight. In addition to all of the above, it is a source of vitamins, especially vitamin C, and can be used as a dietary supplement.
Triphala nourishes the mind and body, and at a deeper level helps cleanse the aura, develop mental abilities, and improve the functioning of chakras.
