Varanadi Kwatham, 100 tabs., Kottakkal Ayurveda

Varanadi Kwatham - an Ayurvedic remedy for balancing Kapha dosha, normalizing metabolism, weight loss, and improving digestion. It can also be used as a remedy for skin, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal tract diseases. The effect of the remedy is enhanced by its combined use with Shilajit, Guggul, or Medohar Guggul.

This preparation is often prescribed for overweight, chronic headaches, and numerous diseases associated with Kapha dosha imbalance, which may manifest as bronchopulmonary diseases, certain skin diseases, sore throat, lymph node problems, helminthiasis, diabetes, intestinal peristalsis disorders, feverish conditions, cardiovascular disorders, increased bone fragility, joint diseases, feeling of heaviness in the head, drowsiness, hoarseness, pharyngitis, chronic gastrointestinal disorders, and many others.

The drug is also indicated for obesity and its accompanying manifestations, depression, gastrointestinal ulcers, abscesses and slow-healing wounds, the presence of tumors (benign or malignant), thyroid dysfunction, adenoids, goiter, atherosclerosis, gynecological disorders (polycystic ovary syndrome), benign prostatic hyperplasia, edema, and as a diuretic.

Active ingredients:

Varun (Crataeva nurvala). Used as an antipyretic and expectorant. It has a carminative and diuretic effect, soothes, and acts as a mild laxative.

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus). One of the most famous herbs for treating the female reproductive system. It has a good effect on lactation, rejuvenates, normalizes hormone levels and the menstrual cycle, relieves spasms, improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, and helps with conception.

Chitrak (Plumbago zeylanica). Significantly improves digestion, restores appetite, relieves edema, helps get rid of parasites, alleviates skin diseases, improves the condition in paralysis, reduces bloating, and positively affects mental disorders.

Shigru (Moringa oleifera). Has anti-arthritic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, antioxidant, diuretic, sedative, and antiviral effects. It is mainly used for joint diseases accompanied by pain and swelling. It has pronounced antibacterial and antiviral properties. Rich in chlorophyll, it is a natural multivitamin.

Instructions for use: 1 tablet 2 times a day. No side effects have been observed; it should be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of an Ayurvedic specialist.

Contraindications: individual intolerance to individual components of the drug. The drug can be prescribed to children only after consultation with a doctor. Non-compliance with dosage norms can cause rapid heartbeat, dry mouth, and increased thirst. Patients with pronounced Pitta prakruti, elevated body temperature, and those suffering from chronic heartburn, gastritis, and stomach ulcers should not take the drug without prior consultation with a specialist.
