Shatavari Syrop, 200 ml, Himalaya

Brand: Хималая Хербалс (Himalaya Herbals)

Shatavari Syrup - a remedy made from Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), a plant Ayurveda calls “the one with a hundred husbands.” The syrup is used to restore and maintain women's health. This preparation is an analogue of shatavari powder. Due to its liquid form, it penetrates the body tissues much faster and has a quicker effect.

Shatavari is considered a female tonic but can be used by both sexes. Being an aphrodisiac, Shatavari contributes to the normalization of hormonal levels, serves as an effective means of increasing male potency and eliminating inflammation of the genitals, increases libido, and improves semen quality.

The preparation is also used as a powerful immunomodulator and a means of detoxification and cleansing the lymphatic system for such disorders of liver and gastrointestinal tract function as jaundice, anemia and associated dizziness and fainting, diarrhea, digestive disorders with dyspepsia, increased acidity, gastritis and ulcers, and gastrointestinal colic.

Shatavari-based remedies help restore the body after gynecological surgeries, general weakness, support women's health, regulate the menstrual cycle, and rejuvenate the reproductive system, maintaining its tone, and also normalize hormonal levels with an excess of male sex hormones.

In addition, Shatavari syrup is often prescribed for menstrual dysfunctions, in particular premenstrual syndrome, to eliminate unpleasant symptoms with dysmenorrhea, such as nausea, vomiting, and pulling pains in the lower abdomen. It helps alleviate the condition with amenorrhea, painful and heavy menstruation, and also during the climacteric period. The preparation helps neutralize inflammation of the pelvic organs, prevents the formation of pathological processes in the uterus in the form of myomas, fibroids, endometriosis, cervical erosion, herpes infection, as well as mastopathy, and promotes lactation.

In general, Shatavari Churna is characterized as a diuretic, antispasmodic, antitumor, general tonic, and tonic agent. It helps balance Vata and Pitta doshas, increase physical and mental abilities, strengthen the nervous system, and is especially useful for anxiety-depressive and hysterical disorders.

Science explains the healing properties of shatavari with its high content of steroidal saponins (glycosides), which affect the body like hormones. By enhancing the conversion of estrone (which slows down metabolism) into estradiol (which speeds it up), Shatavari reduces the risk of cancer, fibroids, and mastopathy, and normalizes weight. This plant also has a beneficial effect on men: by preventing the formation of dihydrotestosterone, it prevents the enlargement of the prostate gland.
