The great physician Avicenna himself recommended Yashtimadhu for inflammatory diseases of the bronchopulmonary, digestive, and genitourinary systems.

The remedy is able to normalize cholesterol levels, stimulates insulin synthesis, improves the health of the liver and pancreas, regulates bile flow, and balances water and electrolytes. It is effective against allergies. It is considered one of the best natural immunostimulants.

Active Ingredients:

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Another name for this plant is licorice. The first mention of the medicinal use of licorice is found in the "Ben-Cao" ("Book of Herbs") - the oldest known herbalist, written by the Chinese emperor Shen-Nung no later than 3216 BC. For many millennia in China, licorice has been considered a valuable medicinal remedy. It was also highly valued by Tibetan doctors, who believed that decoctions from licorice roots prolong people's lifespan, help maintain youth and clarity of mind. This plant was actively used in the medicine of the peoples of Ancient Mesopotamia, from where it later came to Ancient Egypt. In the "Charaka Samhita," one of the most authoritative classical texts of Ayurveda, it is said that Yashtimadhu has the following characteristics: it helps in the treatment of bone fractures and wound healing, relieves itching, restores the correct color of urine, improves complexion, improves voice, and promotes longevity.

Instructions for use: Take 3-5 grams (0.5-1 tsp) with water or milk as recommended by an Ayurvedic doctor for two to three weeks.

Contraindications: pregnancy, dropsy and edema, hypertension, osteoporosis, acute renal failure. Can be given to children. For children, the dose is half. The preparation is recommended to be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a specialist.
